Jor Mandir Complex

A three temple cluster from 1726 that also hosts Bishnupur''s lively Saturday terracotta market right on its grounds.

Jor Mandir Complex, built in 1726 by Malla king Krishna Singh, consists of three ekaratna temples raised on laterite platforms, two large and matched in size and a smaller third structure alongside them. Distinct from the older Jor Bangla Temple, this cluster is also the site of a lively Saturday terracotta market held on its grounds. The combination of temple architecture and an active local market makes Jor Mandir one of the more layered stops in Bishnupur.
