Dalmadal Cannon is a massive iron piece built in 1742 by Raja Gopal Singh, measuring nearly 4 meters in length and weighing over a hundred quintals. Local legend credits Lord Madan Mohan with firing the cannon to drive off a Maratha attack, a story still recounted by guides at the site. Reinforced with more than sixty iron rings and largely rust free after nearly three centuries, it stands as one of the town's most tangible pieces of military history.
