Choto Pathar Darja is the smaller of Bishnupur's two remaining stone gateways, built from laterite with a simple arched passageway. It once formed part of the fortified wall that protected the Malla capital, standing at the southern end of the surviving defenses. Less elaborate than its larger counterpart, it still offers a tangible sense of how the old temple town was once enclosed and guarded.
