Ramkund Stepwell is a square, stone built stepwell in Bhuj known for its detailed carvings depicting characters and scenes from the Ramayana along its inner walls. The stepwell reflects the water conservation architecture once common across Kutch's arid landscape, built to store water through the region's long dry months. Its compact scale makes it an easy add on stop while walking the Hamirsar Lake heritage circuit. Though less visited than the palaces nearby, it rewards travellers interested in the region's older stone craft traditions.
