Hodka Village

A Banni village known for traditional Bhunga huts, mirror work embroidery and Rann Utsav homestays.

Hodka Village, in the Banni grasslands near Dhordo, is known for its traditional Bhunga huts, circular mud structures adorned with mirror work and murals that double as both homes and craft showcases. Many families here offer homestay experiences with folk music and dance performances, giving visitors a closer look at Kutchi rural life beyond the Rann Utsav tent city. The village's embroidery and handicrafts are also available for purchase directly from artisans. It works well as a half day cultural stop alongside a White Rann visit.
