Tung Fort

Tung Fort stands on a narrow ridge across Pawna Dam from Tikona Fort, its steep, slender profile making it one of the more demanding climbs in the Maval region. The fort sees far fewer visitors than Lohagad or Visapur nearby, and its ruined bastions and rock cut sections reward those willing to make the trek. From the top, the view stretches across Pawna Lake to the surrounding forts, a quieter alternative for travellers who already know the busier Lonavala circuit.
