A 16th-century Bengaluru temple dedicated to Nandi, housing one of the world's largest monolithic granite bull idols and the focal point of the annual Kadalekai Parishe groundnut fair.

Shri Doddabasavanna Temple, popularly known as the Bull Temple, is a significant heritage site in Basavanagudi. It is dedicated to Nandi, the sacred mount of Lord Shiva, and houses one of the world’s largest monolithic idols of a bull. Carved from a single granite rock, the statue is continuously polished with charcoal and oil. This 16th-century temple is also the focal point of the famous Kadalekai Parishe (Groundnut Fair) celebrated annually.
