Sankari Khor, also called Sankari Gali, is a narrow gorge within Gehvar Van, the forest tied to Radha and Krishna's raas leela near Barsana. The name translates roughly to narrow lane, describing the tight passage between rock walls that pilgrims walk through as part of the Barsana parikrama. Local legend places the site over a thousand years old, tied to Krishna collecting tolls from passing gopis. Visitors doing the Gehvar Van circuit often combine this stop with nearby Maan Mandir.
