Mor Kutir sits opposite Maan Mandir on the Brahmagiri hills and takes its name from the peacock, mor, at the center of its founding legend. Unable to soothe an angry Radha, Krishna is said to have dressed as a peacock and danced here until she relented and returned. The shrine's carvings and imagery lean heavily on this avian theme, distinguishing it from Barsana's other temples. Visitors often pair this stop with Maan Mandir since both share the same hillside.
