Gurdwara Damdama Sahib sits close to Sis Ganj Sahib and shares its compound with the Bhora Sahib and Thara Sahib sites. It marks the location where Guru Gobind Singh was formally recognised as the tenth Guru, a pivotal moment in Sikh succession. The current octagonal domed structure dates to the twentieth century, built over the original site. The gurudwara's proximity to several other historically linked shrines makes it a natural stop for visitors following the story of the Guru lineage through Anandpur's older quarter.
