Gurdwara Bhora Sahib preserves the memory of an underground meditation chamber once used by Guru Tegh Bahadur for prayer and the composition of hymns. The original rock ledge on which he is believed to have sat was later encased in marble during a modernisation drive, though the site retains its spiritual significance for visiting pilgrims. The gurudwara forms part of the same historic cluster as Sis Ganj Sahib and Guru Ka Mahal, and is typically visited alongside them by pilgrims moving through Anandpur's oldest core.
