Chikhaldara Hill Station

Vidarbha''s only hill station, known for viewpoints, lakes, coffee plantations, and cool weather retreat from Amravati.

Chikhaldara sits about 100 kilometres from Amravati and holds the distinction of being Vidarbha's only hill station and its sole coffee growing area. Thick forests, deep valleys, and a scatter of viewpoints, including Hurricane Point, Prospect Point, and Devi Point, give the plateau a character unlike anywhere else in the region. Bir Lake adds a peaceful centre to the town, while nearby forts and the edge of the Melghat Tiger Reserve give visitors reason to stay longer than a single afternoon. The cool climate makes it a popular summer escape for Amravati residents.
