Gabbar Hill rises above Ambaji and is considered the original seat of Goddess Amba, predating the main temple in the town below. Pilgrims reach the summit shrine either by climbing around a thousand stone steps or by ropeway, passing the goddess's footprints carved into rock along the way. At the foot of the hill, a parikrama path lined with replicas of all 51 Shaktipeeths lets visitors complete a symbolic circuit of India's major Shakti sites in a single walk.
