Bhavanasini Falls, also known locally as Varahagundam, forms where the Bhavanasini river flows through the narrow valley between the Vedadri and Garudadri hills. Legend holds that the river's waters originated when the gods cooled Narasimha's fury after he slew Hiranyakashipu. The falls appear early on the trek toward Jwala Narasimha and Ugra Stambham, offering a scenic pause and a rare clear water source along the otherwise dry rocky path. The setting stays lush and green through most of the year, especially just after monsoon.
